Christine Carr is a dancer, actor, and movement enthusiast. Originally from Ottawa, Christine started her dance training at the age of four studying extensively in Ottawa Valley Step Dance, a unique percussive dance form rooted in Irish, Scottish and French Canadian traditions. She later continued her dance training studying tap, jazz and ballet.

Professionally, Christine now dances as a principal dancer with The StepCrew, a world-class Celtic music and dance show touring theatres and festivals across Canada, the U.S and Internationally. Christine also holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Windsor and is a certified Pilates teacher, teaching classes in Toronto.

Other dance credits include The Toronto International Tap Festival (Harbourfront Centre), Montreal Tap Festival (Rialto Theatre), featured dancer with Solas (Japan tour), featured dancer with Juno Award winning band The East Pointers (Woodford Folk Festival, Australia), dancer in Ron Davis’ SymphRonica Meets Tap Dance: Moving Soundscapes, The Laundry List (Toronto Fringe), and the featured dancer in Plankton’s Celtic Christmas 2019 in Japan.

Christine is always so honoured to get to work with the talented and kind-hearted ladies of Vintage Taps, and she is especially excited to kick up her heels and once again take the stage as Coco in The Laundry List!
