In November 2017, it started with a simple, almost offhand comment:
We should do a show…

What followed was the first iteration of The Laundry List in 2018- a passion project woven together with rhythm, friendship and a whole lot of heart. In 2019, the show became an award-winning hit at the Toronto Fringe Festival. With the support of a Toronto Arts Council grant, we were able to further develop the project, deepening the story and expanding the artistic scope.

Now, nearly a decade after that first spark of an idea, Vintage Taps is ready to take its biggest leap yet… across the pond.

The Laundry List is heading to the 2027 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Through every rehearsal, every iteration, and every sold-out performance, we’ve held tight to what matters most: our sisterhood, the joy of tap dance, and the memories we create together. The Laundry List is more than a show-  it’s a celebration of rhythm, resilience, womanhood, resourcefulness, and the beautiful messiness of life.

We’ve always loved entertaining audiences and sharing our joy for dance. Now, we’re ready to carry that joy across the ocean and onto a world-renowned festival stage.

Help cheer us on as we embark on our biggest adventure yet.
