Yarnel fell in love with dance at the age of five in Moose Jaw, SK and spent more hours in the studio than at school in her youth.

Throughout her university studies, Yarnel taught and choreographed in Saskatoon, SK with a focus on jazz, contemporary and lyrical styles. A highlight for her was travelling to a Mexican resort as assistant choreographer of two shows.

After taking a few years away to focus on her career, Yarnel’s passion for dance was reinvigorated after moving to Toronto where she rediscovered tap and began exploring new styles of dance.

Yarnel is thrilled to be returning in the role of Mary Ann Miller in the Vintage Tap’s production of The Laundry List.
